Dennis has enjoyed a 30-year career in the data and analytics space having served in a variety of leadership roles in sales, operation, corporate strategy and data strategy for Neustar, TARGUSinfo and Equifax NDS.
Dennis is one of the founding employees of TARGUSinfo, the first real-time transaction-based marketing data and analytics company in the country. During his 18-year tenure, Dennis held a number of leadership roles at TARGUSinfo including VP of Sales, SVP of Sales and Marketing and EVP of Corporate/Strategic Development. As EVP of Strategic Development, Dennis managed all data assets and created TARGUSinfo’s data corroboration model which facilitated TARGUSinfo becoming one of the leading providers of authoritative consumer and business identity data in the industry.
Following the highly successful sale of TARGUSinfo to Neustar in November 2011, Dennis ran TARGUSinfo (then called Neustar Information Services) as one of the three business units within Neustar for the initial 18 months of his tenure with Neustar. Following the reorganization of Neustar into functional divisions, Dennis became Neustar’s first SVP of Data Strategy, responsible for maximizing one of Neustar’s most valuable assets—data. With the increasing demand for business intelligence and analytics derived from data, his team of 280 associates managed all of Neustar data assets and their uses to support the underlying data requirements of all current and future Neustar solutions.
Since retiring from Neustar in May 2014, Dennis has been supporting various data and analytic companies via board positions, consulting arrangements and investments.
