Fred Bucher is Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Spectrum Reach, the advertising sales division of Charter Communications. In this role, Mr. Bucher oversees all marketing activities for Spectrum Reachat the enterprise and field levels, including brand marketing and communications, product marketing, production/creative services and field research. He and his team are responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive integrated marketing, branding and product strategies for Spectrum Reach’s television, digital and emerging ventures including advanced advertising products and data services.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Bucher worked at Time Warner Cable Media, most recently as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. He joined Spectrum Reach as part of Charter’s acquisition of Time Warner Cable in May 2016.
Previously, Mr. Bucher held a number of senior leadership positions at major agencies and media companies, as well as operating his own consulting firm. From 2000 to 2010, he worked at ESPN as Vice President of Marketing Solutions where his responsibilities included managing the sponsor-driven marketing programs across ESPN’s on-air networks, ESPN.com, ESPN The Magazine and ESPN mobile properties. He also worked at Omnicom’s Tracey Locke Partners and Ryan Partnership, which became Epsilon
Mr. Bucher holds a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from Dickinson College.
